Re: WTB black center seat belt

If I can dye it, I will buy it. I'm assuming a lighter original color will be better for dying? Let me know what you up with and what the price shipped to 95621 is. Thanks for looking out and thanks for thinking outside the box. I would have never thought about dying one.

I have at least 2 buckles with decent plastic and belts, not sure about the other side. Will check tomorrow.

Thanks. Is it the center belt, with the male end that is not retractable?

Re: WTB black center seat belt

Mr. C,
Are those GM belts or aftermarket? Maybe I'm being too picky, but I'm really looking for a GM center belt. Please let me know what yours are. THANK YOU.

I truly appreciate your offer on the belts, but with no disrespect intended, I would like to hold out for just a little longer. I am set on finding a black center belt with with the GM logo on the button, so it will match my other original belts. Thank you again for your offer and thank you for taking the time to post the pictures. Like 70LonghornCST said, big props. It is really cool that you are willing to do that for me. People like you make this site what it is. Thanks.

Re: WTB black center seat belt

Brian,
Holding out for GM parts and not taking something you may not use is not disrepectful. It shows that you have character. Mr.C is an awsome member and I'm sure that he was never offended. Like you, I too would want my outer belts to match my middle belt. I've actually been following your WTB thread hoping that someone would come up with one. If you find a set to dye, and need a black cover for the buckle--dying the buckle cover is not a good idea because it's hard plastic--I have one I'll ship you free. Let me know if you get to that point
Richard

Brian if you are still looking for a center belt I have one it's a little faded but nice usable none the less. I'll get a pic in a bit and post it.

Got the seat belt today, it looks even better then it did in the picture! It will work great for me. Thanks a ton. I plan on putting it in this weekend and if the weather is good, it's off the the drive-in with my wife and daughter.

Re: WTB black center seat belt

Thanks to pumpgas and 70LonghornCST my quest is complete. Actually, thanks to everyone for all the help. I just finished installing the belt after the RIT dye treatment I gave it. Looks pretty darn good, if I don't say so myself. Thanks again.
