Blazer 1\2 top molds

These are 2 blazer 1\2 top molds. These were used in the 70s. They are 1969- 1972 blazer and a 1973-1975 top mold. They are in great shape and were well made. They are built to withstand time and production molding. They have full instructions to fab all internal attaching points, measurements and assembly. each has the inner and outer 1\2 to replicate blazer tops.Molds are sold as a set, no splitting. They weigh approx 250 to 300 pounds each. They are priced at $1500.00 or best offer for both.

Wow, I have never seen a 73-75 half top. Wish I had the loot for these things. Any pics of the 73-75 tops by chance. Good luck with the sale, these will be a money maker for someone.

Re: Blazer 1\2 top molds

Have you ever taken the molds to a fiberglass place to find out cost of making the top?

I did not. But I called and gave them a description of them and they seemed to think it could be done for between $200.00 - $250.00 but that was a guess. I could bring them to them for a more accurate quote. I have all the manuals to make all the plates and the metal bulkhead along with pictures and advertising lititure. I just do not have enough time.

Re: Blazer 1\2 top molds

Wow. These are a great find. Wish I had the cash to pick them up. Might have to start calling around to see if I can find a place that does this to see what kind of cost I'd be looking at for these...

I think there is a market if you could get someone at a production fiberglass shop to mass produce them reasonably.

Where do you live? I would think They could be shipped for about $300.00 - $500.00.
They weigh about 175-225 pounds each. If you shopped around you probubly could find a truck in need for a load going that way. or another thought I go to Pamona several times a year and could get them that far.

The bulkhead is made of steel. I believe the pattern is in the packet. I will get the packet from my friend and look at it again. It has been a while since I saw the details.
