What headers work best?
In the market for a new set of headers. Currently I have the long tube style headers, and would like to replace them with a set of block huggers. The truck is a 1971 chevy K10, with a 5.7 liter V-8. The main reason for switching to the block hugger style is so that I can put a mechanical clutch linkage in the truck.
All info is appreciated |

Re: What headers work best?
I'd just go to manifolds then. Shorties just don't flow! A good set of LT1 manifolds will out flow most shorty headers. Although I don't know about fitment on our trucks!

No problem! Also love your truck. Personally I only like step sides as lifted 4x4's, and I'm a blue fan through and through.

Re: What headers work best?
I took my headers off and put ramshorn manifolds on my 71. Truck runs better and sounds better than it ever did with headers. I would check into them unless you are just dead set on headers.
