Seems like a fair price to me at least from the pics...

Thanks!! I didn't think I'd ever get a true 2wd that hadn't been restored yet. I'll post some pics up when I get it.

Re: 72 2wd Blazer on CL

Ok, the Blazer got delivered yesterday afternoon.

The delivery driver called me the day prior to let me know what time he should get to my area so I eagerly asked him if the Blazer seemed to be in decent condition and he said "yeah, it seems like it's in decent shape for a project except it's only a two-wheel drive". I thought that was pretty funny!

Ok here are some pics:

Here is when it first got here. The gray lines are cracks in the top. BTW it's a single wall top which I didn't know:

Here are some exterior shots when I got it home:

I pulled everything out from inside to get a good look at the floors and here is what they look like:

Some more interior shots:

Took a couple under the doors:

Under the hood:

I went underneath and here is what I found:

Here is the driver side rocker box. Sorry for the crummy photo:

I pulled out all this dirt from inside the box:

There was also a Bestop softopper rolled up in the back of the blazer that I didn't know about. Unfortunately it didn't come with the hardware.

The Blazer also came with some newly recovered seats:

Here is my favorite photo of all! I never thought I'd ever think it was awesome to see the letter "C"!:

So there it is. I think for my 3995 I did alright. You guys know a lot more than I do so I'd love to here your thoughts if this was a good deal or not.

Re: 72 2wd Blazer on CL

That isn't a good deal! It's a GREAT deal! The seats recovered like that (front and rear) are worth at least 1500-1800. The soft top is worth a couple hundred at least w/out the top....and the tub looks REALLY nice! Plus, it's a 2wd so the value is already there...

Congrats!!!!

Matt great truck. I think you should start your own thread about your new truck. You deserve it with that awsome score!
