71 blazer 12 bolt

quick question the differential of a 4x4 71 blazer do they have 5 lug axles and posi?...i found one for sale and i want to replace my 6 lug rearend on my 69..im assuming the dimensions are the same except for the blazer being a leaf spring rearend right?

Pretty sure all 4x4 are 6-lug.

I believe you're correct, but I know for sure all 4wd Blazers are 6-lug.

4x4 Blazer = Leaf spring rear 12 bolt with 6 lugs.
A posi was not standard equipment. That was an option only. You'd have to look at the SPID of the vehicle, lift it up and spin a tire, or take the diff cover off to confirm it.
