Shift lever out of 4 speed
Is there any easy way to get a shift lever out of a 4 speed from the top after I get the hump cover off without disassembling the entire thing? Is there a trick or what? I am trying to get out 2 before the trucks are crushed...

Re: Shift lever out of 4 speed
Pull the boot. I use channel lock pliers opened up about an inch and use the jaws to push down on the inner part of the ball metal lookin thingy that the stick goes into. Push it down and turn counter clockwise and it should pop up
