Where can I get a good wiring harness?
I am needing a wiring harness for my 66. Its got a 327 and it runs and drives now, but the wires are just old and fragile and some chewed through. So I have been looking aorund for some wiring harnesses and I figured I would ask on here as well since there are many people who have much more experience then me. Id like to just get a complete harness to get it over with. Let me know what you think

I would go with American Auto wire factory fit.

mbgmike has these for a good price, check out the vendor area of the forum. You can also search through the post but in the end everyone has their own preference. I'm going to order an American Auto Wire harness here shortly for my 66 as I have the same issues.

Re: Where can I get a good wiring harness?
You need to think about whether you want factory style harnesses, or an update harness, or a generic N circuit harness.
The factory type harnesses can be gotten with updates like HEI, and newer style alternators, but they're the probably the most expensive. Least expensive are the generic ones, but they're the most work. The update harnesses are just right. Kidding. 3 bears joke. |

Re: Where can I get a good wiring harness?
I used the American auto wire classic update harness in my truck since it had the wiring for some of the updates I had done and all of the ones I am planning. Very nice fit and instructions.
