Stickers Anyone?

How do most of you feel about having stickers on your truck? If you have them, are they mostly bumper stickers or does your truck resemble a NASCAR ride?

I personally don’t have any on mine, not even will I keep a static oil-change reminder on my windshield. I can remember back in the day when I was growing up it was cool to have a STP sticker on notebooks, clipboard, etc. and maybe some Odd Rod stickers! Did you ever chew the bubble gum that came with them. LOL! Sometimes bumper stickers make political statements or expresses personality about the driver. I’ve always wanted my vehicles to have a “clean” look to them.

And I hope that if you are using stickers, that you are not using them to hold something together! LOL

Re: Stickers Anyone?

I'm not a big sticker fan myself. Currently I have a "Ride Tech" logo on my back glass, and I plan to add a "///Relaxed Atmosphere" club sticker soon.

Yea i keep all my stickers i get from part companys on my tool box. They dont pay me to advertise for them. I feel the same about dealer logos, tags and licence plate holders.

Re: Stickers Anyone?

I've got my PGR sticker on the back glass, that's it.

Agree with Cherub about not advertising for free.

Re: Stickers Anyone?

I once cut up a "Hoosier" sticker to say Hoser.

I've been kicking around the idea of some old school decals on the back window of my '73 like they did back in the day... Moon, Hooker, STP, Isky Cams, etc... If I could find some, I may do it.

Re: Stickers Anyone?

How do you guys feel about plates up on the front bumper? I have no stickers I hate the look of them. But I love my classic USA1 plate that was used in the 70s

No choice in Virginia, front and rear plates required.......and the guys and gals in blue will write you up for no front plate.

I have considered front plates either Chevy or a sports team related.

IMO.. stickers are good if they're tastefully done.. but it's a matter of preference, I suppose..

Here's mine

Unfortunately.. we have no choice in California. It's mandatory that we have front plates.
If we do put something like you have on ours over here.. it's a fix-it ticket.
Same thing with the front window tint law though.. It depends on how bored the cop is, and if he wants to pick on you that day.

Re: Stickers Anyone?

I'm not a huge fan of stickers, espeacially on paint. I have three total on my restored '71 4x4. One, back glass driver side saying "Viet Nam Veteran", one on the passenger side "67-72chevytrucks.com" and an original styled re-pop on the tailgate (on the paint no less as originally done ) showing "disc brakes" which became standard item on the '71 year. Also have a red, white and blue "USA-1" front plate. Like the "clean" look I guess.

Re: Stickers Anyone?

being as my truck is basically all American ( except for the aftermarket parts that are prolly imported) i tend to shy away from stickers.. i mean on American trucks they dont add 50 hp per like they would on lets say a honda
