Trying to find the original color of my truck

I am trying to discover the original color of my truck, the spid code says "Option#535 white/dark green" the are a few spots where the re-spray has worn off and the paint under looks original.
but the color does not look close to any of the dark greens I have seen,it looks more like a dark olive green. is there anywhere else on the truck I could find a true paint code?

any help would be much appreciated.
it is a 1971 C-10

the VIN isn't going to tell you the paint code.
Look under the dash, under the seat, between the cab and bed... places most painters won't get.

535 is the correct paint code for your 1971 C-10. It is a two tone code for 505 dark green and 521 white. The 535 code will be on the build sheet if you have one, but the spid is the best place to find it.
