A big thanks to the members of this board.
Special thanks to you guys that helped me out over the last 2 years.
I'm about 95% complete now, need to tweak a few things here and there and come up with some type of after market sports mirrors for this thing. Any suggestions? |

This has probably been done and documented several times, but here's how us poor boys redo the guage clusters. I also found a good set of leather seats out of a 99 Buick Park Avenue and they were almost a direct bolt in, I'll try to add pics later.

I used the stock gmc mirrors but I cut 3 inches out of both the driver and the passenger side. Reweld, smooth them out and painted. Looks stock.
Nice color by the way, but I am biased. Steve

The seats ended up being the wrong color for what we went with, but based on the budget there going to be there for awhile.

Those mirrors look great! I think I'm gonna copy what you did with the gauges as well. That's the look I'm shootin for but i don't have money to buy new ones. Love the blue color, it looks great! Job well done!
Question-Did you repaint those yourself? And if you did, what did you do for the glass piece? Mine has this ugly green on it, and the numbers/letters are a weird light green/blue color.. Last edited by Trailrider95; 05-30-2011 at 04:57 PM. |
