Heat control cable

How do I unhook , and install a new heat control cable. Mine is hard to move.

IIRC the cable has a circle around theheater door and there is a screw holding it down to the selector switch then you just lift it out.. ill take a look at the heater box i have and see if i can snap a pic later

Thanks. I will be getting a used AC- heater control box with all the switches, and cable from a junk yard for $ 20.00 I may need all the parts some day.
