rear 6 lug to 5 lug conversion - what drums
Is it as simple as buying 71 drums when I change my axles to 5 on 5?
If not what drum do I need to order, or do I need to change the entire backing plate set up? Thanks in advance

yep. that simple.
i had my 6 lug axles redrilled to 5 x 5 & the center turned down to fit 1972 drums.
