Glove box rattle?

Hey guys,

I have been tracking down all the small rattles in my truck for a few months now and I have pretty well eliminated them all, except for the glovebox rattle?

is my truck the only one that does this? how are you guys fixing this pesky problem? if you are at all

thanks
aaron

Re: Glove box rattle?

loosen the striker and move it back some.
Or replace the worn or missing rubber bumper

Re: Glove box rattle?

thanks longhorn man,

I loosened the striker but it didnt help any, it seems like I remember a rubber bumper there, but I guess it was too worn to work effectively.
