on-board air install

well i was bored this weekend.... i had the york 210 in the basement that i got off ebay last year for real cheap; even the electric clutch worked. I decided now was the time to have some fun and do a little fabricating and put it on the truck. I already had an extra unused groove on the PS pump so that pretty much determined where it was going to go. I mocked up some brackets and notched them for a slide for belt adjustment. Sure is a tight fit with the power steering and AC lines. Before i put the york in for the final time, i took it all apart and cleaned the old oil out of it, and filled the crankcase with 10 ounces of 10w30. i cleaned the valves in the head and put it all back together. i gave everything the obligatory coat of paint and fired it up. unfortunately it wont build pressure. She definitly pumps air, but it wont build ANY pressure. So it looks like next time im free i can take the head off and inspect. Thankfully i can easily take the head off in the truck. anyway here's some pictures and if anyone has any york tales and remedies for a york that wont build pressure, i'd love to hear them.

"Yea, it was a fuel supply problem. A rod came through the block and cut the fuel line."
