So what happened to the parts?

The Repop's that used to be available? Like unloovered cowl vent covers for TF, for that matter the loovered ones too. Brand new ash trays. I'm sure theres a few more I'm forgetting. So what do they do build a short run and sell out and give up?

Re: So what happened to the parts?

Like a lot of retail stores, they are just selling out of inventory or special ordering (ran into this chasing a band saw blade). On the wholesale level they are not ordering from manufacturers who require minimum # to produce. When the demand come back, supply will follow. In the mean time I buy all kinds of spare parts when I can get a deal on them. for instance I have two original spare wiper motors, heater motors, door regulators, etc. for my 64 Chevelle DD. Also extra tail light assemblies. If its something you will need get it, no guarantee it will be available tomorrow.
