Steering wheel alignment after P/S install

Just finished installing my ford (haha) power steering box on my RHD 79 C20. Loving the 2.5 turns lock to lock instead of about 10 on the manual unit. Its super light, probably slightly lighter than my old 1990 C1500. Need to get a shop to align it properly though as its tracking in grooves in the road.

How can I get my steering wheel horn pad to sit horizontal again ? Its now sitting at 11 - 5 (think of a clock face) I pulled the wheel off but there is a pin hanging out the back of the wheel which stops it from being rotated on the splined shaft. (See pic) I cant adjust it at the rag joint / box as the splined joint there has a flat on it so it can only go in 1 position.

Is the pin on the wheel for cancelling the indicator or something to do with the horn ? If its the horn I can just remove it as I already have a dash switch for the horn. P.O did this.
