Will it make it?
Giving truck to brother and he wants to drive it a couple 100 miles on a sometimes slipping tranny. I think it is a bad idea, but he has a head like a friggin' brick under cement, lol. Not to mention, he's a cheapo. He seems to think it is okay, since he drives it everyday w/no issues. Your opinions? As always thanks.

I think it could, if it absolutely had to, and he was careful with it. But doing it just because he doesn't feel like fixing it? That's just asking for trouble IMO.

I've seen some pretty crazy stuff when it comes to makin a trany go for a while longer. Sometimes for years.

Make sure the truck has good towing coverage. You can buy it separately from AAA or other companies if you don't have it. Cheapest insurance you can get, especially for this situation.

if it's an auto and it quits you may be able to use a lower gear or something. if its a manual, i wouldnt try it on a bet.
