Re: 1988 and up stepside parts
There's a few places that have them. All around the same prices. They are indeed high.

Re: 1988 and up stepside parts
I wish they would sell them in pairs. I have no use for the rears and refuse to pay that kind of money when I won't even use half the kit.

Re: 1988 and up stepside parts
I appreciate that link. I was thinking that they were no longer available, since Choo Choo Customs quit making them.
As for the "steps", there's a metal-working shop near me that does custom work. I'm thinking that taking them the front pads and letting them cut them with a water jet and affix the nut to the backside, would allow for some one-off ideas. I'm thinking maybe black anodized aluminum, or polished stainless, or aluminum with ball-milling, or ???? Engraved, etched, milled, filigree....the sky is the limit.

There used to be a seller on eBay with kits, but the last time I looked there I couldn't find them. I can't remember where I got this link, but I found it a few months ago. I have no experience with the seller, so I can't vouch for them, but if you want shaved steps at this point, beggars can't be choosers. |

Re: 1988 and up stepside parts
If you don't want to pay the price for the billet covers, why not just smoothe the steps out? I saw a 94 ecsnb with smoothe'd steps that was red, it was sweet. i'll have to look for pictures of it when I get home.
