A Bucket To Carry My Buddy.

I have been toying with the idea of trying to find a set of buddy buckets and brackets for my '72 GMC.

Is there any advantage to them over a stock, full foam bench seat? Are they more comfortable? Or are they just cooler to have? Is there any place to buy new buddy buckets? How hard would it be for me to make my own brackets?

Re: A Bucket To Carry My Buddy.

i find them more comfortable than the stock bench, plus they look cool. you can use/modify a dodge buddy bucket frame, or if you got skills, fab something up.

Re: A Bucket To Carry My Buddy.

The biggest advantage is if you co-driver is either a lot taller or shorter than you are. Plus they just flat look great in these trucks.

My wife is a foot shorter than me and in the rigs we have had with bench seats I didn't have knee room if she was driving.

I've got a 60/40 seat out of a 90 something C-10 and it is comfortable for both of us.

I've always liked the looks of the buddy buckets but never found a set when I was looking for seats for one of my trucks.
