Met VA72C10 Today!

I posted this here because our main gravitation is toward 67-72 trucks.
We've talked several times and I felt it was time to meet. He is a great person. Our kids played together and we talked for several hours. Jonathan if your watchin, and Im sure you are, I had a great time talkin with you. We talked for several hours and without pause. I will apologize if I talked over you, Im a talker and I try to be mindful of manners. I had a blast and I think you saw it. BTW, as mad as she was that we left she fell asleep before we hit the highway! Slept till 7!! Thanks!

I wish I had talked to him more when we met him. Had way to much going on, and by the time we got to relax, it was about time to go. Cool guy for sure.

Re: Met VA72C10 Today!

10-4!!! I hope to meet others. I have entertained the idea of a get together. I shared my idea with him and he seemed to like it. I will explain my idea now and you will get somewhat short notice when it happens so that commiters will know their schedule and will know if they can commit. BTW, open to all 67-72chevytrucks.comers!! Since my dealership is centrally located in Virginia I am planning a 67-72chevytrucks.com day. I hope the powers-that-be don't mind me using that but...I plan an informal tech inspection..a chance for you to get your truck on a lift and check things, change your oil, so on and so forth. We will then convoy to a local cruise into invade the scene. There are a couple at resturaunts which is probably a good way to end the day. I hope I can make this happen and if you see me cruisin my bruiser in a not too far off thread, know its not far off!

Liz, He had nothing but good things to say about you and Josh. We had a great time. He is a good person and an assest to our segment of the Hot Rod institution! I'm still reeling from our visit.

Thanks man, was great to meet you too!!!

My girls had fun with your daughter and I had a good time talking trucks with you.
Looking forward to getting some events planned in our area. You have some great ideas!

It's always fun to meet board members. And all of the people I have met off the board have been really cool people!

Re: Met VA72C10 Today!

I met Jonathan this past week as well and he is a good guy. I got a good set of trailing arms from him so I can finish my rear suspension.

Hey Jonathan, you asked where I lived in F'burg but I realized I never answered. I grew up in Stafford off of Rt 17, graduated from Stafford high.

Re: Met VA72C10 Today!

Great guy to know ! I had the pleasure to share a couple spots at the swap meet in Charlotte & the Super Chevy Show in Richmond with him . We sold a few parts , talked trucks & watched some good 'ole drag racing all at the same time . Could'nt have asked for better company . Looking foward to a meet sometime soon .
