Stock Steel Wheel Question

On my 69. It came with Black Steel Wheels. It came this way from the PO. The stock hubcaps are long since missing. Its a bas model stepper (Avatar) with White bumpers. I assume it would have had white hubcaps. But are the black wheels stock? Or should they be white? Did they come both ways? It has very few options listed below if that helps.

250 3 spd
positraction
825-15 Tires and Spare
White Painted Rear Bumper
Black Vynil Trim.

Im looking to go as correct as I can with the resto. It looks like this whole truck is untouched from original. Other than some spray paint the PO's son tried. The PO is long since deceased and no one in the family has any old pictures of the truck for reference.

every 69 i ever saw had white wheels from factory if it had hubcaps in 1/2 and 3/4 ton. Not sure about the ones that came with wheel covers. Not saying this is a fact just the ones I drove back then.
