WIW '72 Cheyenne 30, BB, auto, buckets, tach
Looking for a rough idea of what this might be worth. Pretty sure it was originally a chassis mounted camper truck, but the cab has not been cut. It is a flatbed now. Originally a 402, now has a 454. Was running until the wires going to the aftermarket carb/electric choke caught on fire. (it's not really even noticeable that anything was ever on fire, and I'm positive I could have this truck running within an hour or so). Has black interior, with factory buckets in fairly nice shape, a/c is supposed to work (still has belt on compressor), factory tach, dual batteries, it's basically an untouched and very complete truck. Was white, but has had a horrible repaint and is maroon now, front bumper is badly bent and the grill surrond has some dings. Cab is not very rusty, but I didn't look it over with an eagle eye, but the cab supports and inner rockers are all solid, will probably need outer rockers and maybe cab corners. I, in my infinite wisdom (haha!), think this would make a nice shortbed cab, but I'm not a bigblock guy, so that would have to go. I shouldn't even be thinking about this truck, but.....
So whatcha think????? Last edited by ls1nova71; 07-14-2011 at 11:30 PM. |

Wow, 47 views and nobody has an opinion??? I guess the other thread about the big block conversion package pretty much tells me what I wanted to know anyway, as all that stuff would be coming out.

Pics would help elicit a response.

1 ton duallys are a tough market, they simply do not have quite the following as a pickup.. around here it is probably worth the sum of the goodies.. big block conversion parts, $500-$700.. engine itself $ 250-$500. bucket seats $300 - $500, tach $200-$350 depending on condition.
