63 burb project
Started working on my 63 Burb today I haven't done much since I got it and since my c10 was totaled saurday I figured it was time to start. The p.o. redid the floors and rockers also the lower fenders he did a decent job except for the lower fender witch were just bondoed over the rusted out originals and have allready rusted thru. I seam sealed everything on the driver side getting ready to do the passenger then undercoat it. I put in a set of eibach 3 inch drop springs but it didn sit right so I checked the numbers and they were only 2inch oh well cut a half coil off and installed them. That's were im at so far I got lots of rust repair work and parts to track down but it will get there. Should have the back end dropped by the weekend this will be a slower build as my girlfriend is 8 months pregnate and there's still lots of house work to be done before baby gets here. Here's a before and after of the front drop and the stupid front tires are going soon.

Nice burb. Sorry to hear about your truck. Hopefully no one was hurt. How 'bout some pics of under the hood and interior? What are you overall plans for it?

Re: 63 burb project
There is no interior except some van buckets that are about a foot to tall for it. Underhood is a 292 backed by a 3speed converted to the floor if I can't get the valvetrain to quiet down it will get pulled and replaced with a 4.3 v6 backed by a 700r or 5 speed. The backs getting droped with chevelle coils and blocks with a small notch and adjustable trac bar. I have some bolt in notches but I think ill just make my own. I want to do a 6 lug disk brake/ drop spindal in front eventually also. Going to run 20 inch boyds till I can afford white walls the boyds were free cuz they were peeling im just going to spray them black. Then get some new junkyard seats and lastly body work/paint I just want a cool family hauler that can actually run down the highway.
