Re: ebay score!!

I was the other bidder but the shipping to me was quoted at $188 and I already had my rustfree used fender metal finished and in primer. I have nos front sheet metal and hood on my 67 and a rust free low mile cab. My box was a near new military take off but drivers side fender had a pretty good hickup that required some metal finishing. I thought it would be the last piece to top off a nos and perfect restoration of a black 67 stepside. But I couldnt justify the shipping plus more than the $353 I placed. I believe it is a nice nos piece for $358 piece if you got the transportation worked out.

Re: ebay score!!

shipping for me was $188 but i guess it would be about the same for a new one and then i would have to spend the time or pay someone to have the marker light filled.

Re: ebay score!!

Damn...and to think I've got my stepside box for sale for $300 and there's no rust or big dents. Just a couple minor things at the bottom edges haha

That's expensive for shipping though isn't it. I would've thought $100 would cover that size of item.

Re: ebay score!!

i need one of these myself. im kinda new around here, and it seems the 67 rear drivers fender is a scarce find. mine has the spare tire mount which i personally do not like the look of, but it its going to cost me over $300 for the fender alone i may just have to stick with it

Yeah it's hard to find the fender without the spare tire indent no matter which year. That's why I contemplate keeping my bed as it's in good shape and hard to find and I really like the stepside look. It has a 'meaner' look to it compared to the fleetside which works well for lower trucks with a built race engine I think.

i'm gonna have to keep my eyes peeled and try to find a steal for around $100. there is a local classic car parts yard that usually has anything i am looking for. i might scope it out this weekend just out of curiosity. I'll let you guys know what i find
