There's one down here in Az also.

I think I still have the guy's email, it was on CL for a long time, never posted pics though.

I really do want one of these.

Sadly the money just isn't there after buying my 69.

when was the last time you even saw a panel truck anyway, let alone a 68 3/4 4x4?

I have to many now..or it would be here..waiting a redo..

4 of them is enough to keep running..

Seen quite a few lately and completely done for around that price. I'd pay $1g for it..maybe more if it's complete and will drive on the trailer.

Re: Super rare 68 panel 3/4 4x4 on knoxville CL not mine LINK

Actually $3000 isn't a bad number if it isn't rusted out everywhere.I don't recall ever seeing the forest service use one but I wont say they didn't.If it's a true factory 4X4 then it will be a K code vin.I've only ever seen one 4X4 Panel and it was a true K code. The paint on it was so fresh I could smell it offgassing. The pics of this are a bit blurry and may not show the rust or it may be fine.I would want to look at it closely before I bought it.
Keep in mind most Panels were used in Fleets and that means the driver didn't own it so it may have been abused. The forest service would probably have kept them up but the bodywork they did might have been marginal.

If I sold my burb I'd buy that thing, then store until I get out of the service.

I've always wanted one. The closest I've come is having a '71 2wd and a '71 K/20 truck I wanted to combine. The real deal would be awesome. If I had $3Gs that thing would be mine.
