Are these the right motor mounts?

So I am putting a new motor in my truck and finding plenty of surprises along the way. Can someone tell me if these are the right motor mounts for my truck? It is a 69 K20. I am thinking maybe the motor was sitting about 1" too low because the fan shroud was mounted about 1" lower than it should have been but the fan still lined up. I noticed there are 4 bolt holes but only 3 bolts to the frame. Anything else look out of place?

Re: Are these the right motor mounts?

Think I've seen pix of those before. I believe someone said they are '73-up style, and also the replacement for the style that came on these trucks, which GM had to redesign. There was an issue in the mid-70's, where the rubber cushion would separate and the engine would move when torqued. That led to the pictured device, which GM did in a recall to prevent the problem. They'd stick a cable through the loop and the mount, to limit the engine movement.

It doesnt look like you have the right crossmember for a 4wd, (or even one at all). My k20 has a bolt in crossmember that the motor mounts are perched off of. Here is what you need from diy4x.com http://diy4x.com/cart/index.php?rout...&product_id=80

Re: Are these the right motor mounts?

I have suspected that maybe my whole frame was from a 73-87 and not a factory 4wd. Is it possible the cab and bed were put on a late 70s frame? The front and rear frame horns have both been cut and made to work with the bumpers. Have had the truck for 4 or 5 years and just recently started tearing it apart.
