Air Tank location

Anybody ever considered putting the air tank inside the cab behind the seats? My first instinct is no way, way to dangerous if the thing ever let go. But if you use a Stainless steel or aluminum tank, that almost garuntees no corrosion or deterioration of the tank so would it really be all that bad of an idea? I figure the seats will actually do a fair job of protecting the occupants from physical harm from a very unlikely tank rupture, you you could even cover the tank with an explosion blanket or shield to be really really safe. To me the much bigger danger would be the extreme noise of a tank rupture, but again with a stainless or aluminum tank, I'm thinking the odds of the thing ever being a problem would be EXTREMELY slim.

So has anybody ever put your tank inside the cab?

With a stepside bed and a rear mounted fuel tank, there is very little room left anywhere else for an air tank, and I do not want it in the bed for the world to see.
