How I spent my Summer Vacation....
Just finished a new suspension under my 70. I found a 71 and got the entire suspension for a doner. (disc brakes and new master cyklinder/booster) Went with a 4/6 drop and ECE front bushing/ball joint rebuild kit. Still need to pull the bed and install the beefed up trailing arms, new shock mounts, and hook up the rear mounted gas tank. For now the ride is so much better and pushing on the brake pedal actually gives the feeling I will stop before meeting the car in front.
Question of the day.........Are the old a-arms and springs worth anything other than a trip to the local metal recycler? Hate to just throw them but the entire pile of front parts and springs need to go. |

Re: How I spent my Summer Vacation....
the 63-70 a-arms are all the same, I would think someone might need them, post them and see, wait a month or so, if no bites then recycle them.
