New Wheels
I was wondering if the 1982 Corvette slot wheels will bolt on to my 1986 GMC C15. If anyone has this, let's see some pics.

Vettes have 5x4 3/4 bolt pattern. C10s have 5x5. You would have to run adapters or have the wheel holes slotted. Inland Wheel in Sanbernardino,CA Does that for $25 each wheel.

I've never heard of slotting the hole. Is that safe? I've never used adapters, how would the thickness of the adapter affect the backspacing? Lots of questions there, I guess I will have to do some research.

adapters sill affect the wheelspacin...dont kno exactly how much though

Cragar wheels have had slotted holes since they started. The SS chrome 5 spoke thats been on 1000s of rides.

Do they use mag lugs and offset washers after being slotted? I think i'd like that better than spacers.

the amount an adapter effects the backspacing depends on the width of the adapter.
Most are 1-1/2" to 2" thick. |

If you are into the car style wheels, it's probably best just to have your rotors and axles re drilled to 5x4.75. That will open up your wheel options quite a bit.

Its all about how bad you want those wheels. Redrilling the rotors and drums is good too, but depending on how much you want to spend. Slotting the wheels is cheap. Ask a wheel shop for more info. Stockton wheel might do it too.
