here's mine 72 stepper

well here is my project. i know it doesn't look that bad but it's not that great either. the body work is rough and almost every panel needs something. i'm thinking of pulling my motor and trans or just swapping my good parts all to this frame and then putting all this on another one and trying to sell it the way it is. it's a decent driver as the 454 is a runner and a blast to drive. looking for a new set of headers that don't hang down so low (tired of replacing collector gaskets) so any help there would be appreciated. thanks, dennis

Your truck looks just right. I understand wanting to make it even better. I just hope you only refine it and not change it. Cuz it is saweet!
Look into big block Chevelle headers. Is your truck an automatic? The headers are 3/4 length and dump down at angle where they collect. So,the exhaust comes off the collector with a bend.

Re: here's mine 72 stepper

thanks for the positive comments, i appreciate them. jondancer- my wheels are 15x7 in front with a 235/60 and 15x10 in rear with 295/50. special k- yes my truck is automatic th350. thanks for the header help, and as far as changes mainly i want better bodywork, not show truck but slick enough i don't mind putting my dads and my own name to it. changes wise are basically probably going fleetside and two toning it black on top and hugger orange on bottom. but you never know, budget may change and finding time is something i don't have so for now i cruise it around the way it is.
