Engine code
Well I think it's fixed. The light hasn't come on in over 24 hrs so hopefully it's fixed.
Since this past March my son's s-10 has been keeping a EGR valve code P1404 in it all the time. I could reset it and it would come right back. I replaced the EGR with two new ones and then yesterday I found a post about grounding it. I put a temperary ground on the black wire on the EGR and it's not poped up yet! YeeeHaaaa!! Man I sure hope it stays off. Now I can consentrate on getting him some wheels for it before he gets home from Bootcamp.
