fade to black

hello boys and gurls, i have a 1971 custom 10 a/c cab half ton short bed. it was bought new by my uncle. its never been out of texas but he drove the $hit out of it. anyway i ended up with it my question is its white with blue interior but my build numbers show it is black on black. so the factory messed up along the way, cause like i sayed he bought it new nothing has been altered on the truck at all, so do i paint it white or black, truck will be completely stock exept the 600 horse sbc and tranny and a nice static drop.i will start a build thread very soon love to hear on some feed back.

Re: fade to black

Not sure if the VIN # shows the colors or you are refering to the glove box sheet.
Black is the way to go but blue interior would clash...so I would go with white with blue pin stripes

not like you are doing a 100 point resto... what color do you want it?
What "build numbers" are you going by?

Re: fade to black

going off the glovebox every number matches but the paint code, buddy of mine sayed they could of messed up when they printed the numbers on the glovebox sheet. its the correct sheet cause the vin matches the glovebox.
