'85 IROK (not sure where to post this)
My buddy here at work has a '85 IROK. 305 TBI, He said when you hit the gas it just starts to die out. He was told it could be the fuel filter so he changed that and it still does it. Any ideas that I could help him out with?

First off there are no TBI IROC Camaros. Yes it could be the fuel filter or fuel pump.

You could get an IROC without getting a tuned port engine, but I'm not sure what the other engine was. I know originally they were carbed 305's.

Try www.thirdgen.org you should be able to find the answer there...it's a site dedicated to the 3rd gen camaros and firebirds.

check the dizzy weights move freely too
they can make it do that too...mine was an 82
