channeling

i am new to this website, i had a question about channeling how low does your truck go, i have a full bag setup for mine, just wondering if you have to c notch the rear and do drop spindles in the front, i wanna get my truck as low as possible without cutting the floor like a traditional bd. and honestly kinda intimadated about the whole z'ing the front.it is a 70' c10 longbed any pics and advice would be great thanks

Most on here who lay frame use a dropmember in the front if you are trying to get the front lower it will do it.

Welcome to the forum lucky09. As mentioned, the easiest route is a bolt in crossmember replacement. I would choose this over B/D, Z'ing, channeling or a sectioned crossmember.

Alright Cool thanks for the info..i have been looking into the pb front member I
just was wondering if I channeled it if it would lay on the floor.

The aftermarket cross member along with a step notch set up in the rear will get the frame on the ground. The body/pinch welds are a little bit above the frame, so if you want the body on the ground you'll have to do some additional body modifications. PB also makes a bolt on body drop kit that handles this, but I don't know if it works for a lwb.
