That is nice? Great color combo. I wonder what was used on the trim for woodgrain. That's not original, but sure looks good. Does anyone know how you post large pictures and more than four on Craigslist?

It was a no-reserve auction and ended with a winning bid of $8400. I wonder what happened? I see he's removed his Marlboros from the front seat, and decided not to show the rotted out passenger door...

If that truck was closer to me I would buy it first thing in the morning. You will not see one in that cond. anywhere for that price to often. These only come every once and awhile.

Re: Freakin love this truck !!!

I guess it's just my opinion, but I don't see the value here. It looks awful rusty underneath for a California truck, especially as the ebay post claimed 53,000 original miles. I'd feel a lot more confident buying a frame-off restoration with new engine and trans for that kind of money.

Re: Freakin love this truck !!!

Anyone notice the primer around the cargo light? I did'nt study the photos or anything , my eye just went to it as I rolled the pics. None the less it is a very nice truck indeed and I feel most on here would feel very special owning it.

The CL ad photos make it look much nicer than the Ebay ad did. Interesting truck!

I saw that on Ebay as well. I like it. I think it is a pretty sweet truck. Anyways here are some of the photos provided for when the craigslist ad is deleted.

Enjoy!

Kinda hesitant to comment on it for fear this thread might fall under that "truck bashing" rule......

But I do wonder the story....sold for 8400 on ebay then posted on CL days later for 9500 using same pictures? Either the buyer wasn't happy and is trying to unload it or the seller wasn't going to sell for less than 9500 and isn't going to honor the ebay deal?

Re: Freakin love this truck !!!

Shill bidders are very prevalent at all types of auctions. The sale I buy my wrecks from advertises at the start of the sale, dealers cars sell for 99 and dealers CAN bid on there own cars. I see quite a few bid and "bump" their cars. The times I have sold a the sale I kept my hands in my pockets.

Re: Freakin love this truck !!!

Part of the reason I wouldn't buy from ebay(not being able to see it in person is another reason). There are several nice trucks on ebay at the moment but I'm not really interested in getting into a bidding war, especially if I'm bidding against a friend/agent of the seller.
