Milled Heads
I have a set of 441 Heads that were milled 20-30 thou. I plan to use these to replace my 882's! Do I have to get my stock Intake manifold mill too, or could I get away with thicker Head gaskets? Also, would these milled Heads have clearance issuses with the values (have stock pistons & cam).
I'm no expert, so any help would be appreciated.

I think I would have the intake shaved about .015 or so. Since I can't see an exact millage number on on your heads (you say 20-30) It would be difficult to pin point an exact milling for your intake. Stock pistons, stock cams and shaved heads are generally not a clearance problem. My experience with milled heads has been anything over .010 shaved off the heads will require further machining on the intake. Hope this helps.

do not use a thicker head gasket...you can use thicker intake manifold gaskets though
