Fender
Will a fender off a 68 chevy pickup work on a 70 chevy or is there a differance ?? How can you tell if the fender is a 67 or 68 or 69 and so on thanks rich ..

68 chevy is by it self. The main difference is the edge of the fender where the grille goes and the front leading edge is dirrernt as well.

What about chevy fenders are they the same as a gmc fender ?

67 GMC/Chevy Fenders are the same
68 Chevy and 68-72 GMC fenders are the same 69-72 Chevy fenders are the same All of them will physically bolt on, but like stated above, the front edge where the grill and trim get attached are different. You can make a 67 fender by filling the marker light. |

I'm no expert. 67-68 fender have the same shape/contour. The 68 has a side marker light (square), 67 does not. Although, I have seen 67s with very small round side marker lights, they may have been aftermarket, not sure. Sorry if I am stating the obvious. Most of the 69-72 owners that switch to 67-68 frontends have to change the hood, both fenders and, I beleive, the radiator support.
