07 chevy avalanche transfer case question
so i want to keep the push button 4wd option on my 07 dash in my 85 crew cab. My question is can i rotate the 07 transfer case so it will be a passenger side drop? i do have a 91 suburban 241 transfer case i can use but i would like to use the avalanche one so i can keep the push button option. plus if i use the suburban 241 i will have to make the shifter pop out the driver side tranny hump in the floor because of my center console. any help would be awesome!

Re: 07 chevy avalanche transfer case question
I think the one out of the suburban and the one out of the avalanche are pretty much the same one. I think it would probably work, the only thing I can think of is it should have a hole in the top that a hose is hooked to so air can get out, you'd probably just have to plug that hole.

Re: 07 chevy avalanche transfer case question
or if you want you could leave the transfer case on the driver side, and put in a ford axle because they have a driver side dif.

Re: 07 chevy avalanche transfer case question
Im pretty sure it would still get to where it needs to be. When you use it the turning inside will get it places, and even if you don't use it much, when you stop and go, go up and down hills, it will get to everywhere it needs to.
