Heart Beat Truck?
Is it anything special to see a 1987 silverado long bed with, THE HEART BEAT OF AMERICA logo on the back corner of each side of the bed?

Re: Heart Beat Truck?
Classic (back then was Howard Chevrolet and then Team Chevrolet) used to give those decals away for various reasons, or you could purchase them.
Short answer though, nothing special other than someone put stickers on the truck at some point in its life.

Re: Heart Beat Truck?
No it did not come from the "factory" with a camper shell. It may have been dealer installed, but GM did not put it there.

Re: Heart Beat Truck?
That was a popular ad campaign back in those days
"Listen to the Heartbeat of America!" nothing special --- but kind of a neat period touch (weird that the '88 Chevy's are now 23-24 years old as they still sort of look current ---- back in '88 , my 69 GMC was a complete dinosaur- it was my high school truck ) OOOPs - i goofed - you said '87 truck, not '88 . Completely different animal . an '87 looks like as much of a dino as my '69 did in '88 -- LOL

Re: Heart Beat Truck?
Yeah "N2TRUX" thats what i should have stated, the camper was indeed a dealer install, but do you think the camper would add value or just look funny.

Re: Heart Beat Truck?
The proof of the dealer install is located in the glovebox door beside the spid or whatever they call it ha
