Re: Rear wheels
I've got 15x8 wheels with 255 60 tires and have about a half inch clearance inside and out. The tires rub the box on quick turns.

Re: Rear wheels
If you want to do a little fab work, this combination will put a 10" wheel inside the fender without any frame work.
S-10 rear end, 2WD 3/4" wheel spacers 15x10 wheel (4.5" backspace) and a 275/60-15 tire. Check out Brad's truck to see what it looks like: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=320546

Re: Rear wheels
I've got Billet Specialties wheels and they are 18x 9", w/ 255-45's this gives me about 1" inside to the box and 1" outside to the fender. Be sure to measure the backspacing carefully!

Re: Rear wheels
I just went thru this. On my 52.
The fender is 12" wide from box to inner lip. You may be able to squeeze a 1/2" more by tweaking fender a bit. I went 245/60/15 they were supposed to be around 9.5"by the charts But mine grew mounted on 8" rallies they were a tad over 10. Centered up I got and inch on each side of tire. Looks closer than it is. Posted via Mobile Device |
