88 s10 454
It all starts about 6 months ago when my cousin sold his camaro as a roller and kept his 454. since then it has sat in the corner of the garage just waiting for something. I was browsing our local forum and found a s10 that had a locked up 2.5 and the guy wanted 350. Long story short i ended up buying the s10 for 200 and my cousin and i have a joined project now. So far we have the motor setting in the frame with the mounts fabbed up. The trans is in also, and we just got done building one header. The truck is a little rough but I think it will turn out to be a fun ride.
Heres some pictures of it when i first got it and of the motor. |

Re: 88 s10 454
Do you have a link to the last picture, I want to see it bigger. Like how you went over the control arm. How close/s**tty of a fit will that be with fender? As well, is that with the full weight of the engine on the truck? How much travel does that control arm have until it hits too? Wouldn't want to be going down any bumpy roads...

Plan on adding weight to the rear of the s10. Also, you might want a set of camaro springs for the front (FCS5662s) that have a higher spring rate 700#

Wow! I can't wait to see that hit the street! I thought my S10 was a handfull to drive-Your truck is going to be FUN to drive. I had a 68 Nova witha 396 and 400turbo with 3:73's you could punch it at 60 and break the tires LOOSE. Your gonna have a lot of that
