71/72 5 lug disc brakes

Convert your 67-72 chevy truck to 5 lug power disc brakes. Everything you need is here, front end with all the steering linkage (67-70 drum brake linkages are different), rear end and power booster set with all the brackets to connect to your brake pedal. Plus the previous owner put new front brake hoses, rebuilt calipers, and new brake pads not long before I got it. The 5 lug non-posi rear end is complete from drum to drum with good brake pads and was removed from a running driving truck that had been wrecked in the front end with 96,000 original miles. The brake booster and master cylinder set is also in useable shape from a running truck. I would not recomend this for a "crossmember" swap because there is some damage to one of the lower control arms. This is as close to a bolt on set you will find, no hoses, calipers, pads, etc to buy and no drums/rotors to turn. Buy some new upper and lower 71/72 ball joints and bolt everything up. $350 picked up thanks, Greg

Rear end & brake booster sold.........New prices: complete front $100

Re: 71/72 5 lug disc brakes

Williefree44, I can do $60 shipped if that would work for you. The prop. valve is different for disc and drum brakes not power vs. manual. Hope that helps. Thanks, Greg

Re: 71/72 5 lug disc brakes

Willie, I drove the truck on and off the trailer, the brakes worked and the fliud was clean inside the reservior, other than that they are "used" parts. I can not offer any guarantees beyond that, it's your choice. Thanks, Greg

Thumbs up Re: 71/72 5 lug disc brakes

Thats pretty much what I was asking. No guarantee needed, just that they worked when removed. Good enough for me bro! Lets seal the deal. Thanks again!
