I bought a 72 3/4t 4x4 suburban and need it shipped. Any good companies you recomend??? I have a quote from Creative Rides Auto Transport, has anyone ever used this company?

give him a call he is pretty reasonable and it is an enclosed transporter

Thanks, Its not perfect, but it is the original paint. I love survivor trucks. I talked to the owener several times. It has always been garaged and was rarely ever driven in the snow. I will have pics when it gets here!!

Hey Joe, ya might give Randy a holler...I dont know if he can give you the name of a good transporter but he may be able to tell you who to steer clear of..he had some trouble with a few recently. Cant wait to see pics!

carshipper.usa is the company the guy used that bought my truck and had it shipped to him. No issues there.... just shop around and visit a few forums and you will get the right idea of who to use

My 2 best quotes were $650, and I have a guy from the Yesterdays tractor board that might be able to haul it for $500. I'm out of town this weekend, so ill make a decision Monday or tuesday

$650 is about right.

Avoid Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS).

I had my 69 shipped to me by them and the ripped off the exhaust, and then denied it (even though it was sitting in the bed). Went round and round with them and they still denied it.

Try these guys . I've never used them myself but liked what I heard on the phone. A board member recently bought a 68 Burb in Washington State and I suggested he try these guys, which he did, and had it shipped to Illinois and he was very pleased with the price and very fast service.
