question about dash cluster
i bought a reconditioned tach dash cluster from a vendor at a swap meet. i took it apart and installed aftermarket gauges to replaced the oil pressure, amp, and temp gauge. the printed circuit lined up perfectly with the new volt gauge(hoping that works as is). my question is, if i leave the printed circuit hanging where it hooks up to the amp and temp gauges will everything else work right?

Re: question about dash cluster
You can't use an voltmeter where an ammeter was without rewiring. A voltmeter uses a ground and an ignition switched hot. The ammeter is a shunt type circuit in parallel with an always-hot wire from alternator to battery basically. Other than that, yes, if you leave the other stuff disconnected it should work.
