control arms from 85 long bed fit 86 short?

have a 85 gmc longbed....parting out.
picked up a 86 short bed.
took 5-7 kit off long bed, will go on the short bed.

question i have is will the control arm fit the short bed????
reason i ask, is because i ordered moog parts for the front end of the short truck. thought it might be easier if i took the control arms off the long bed, wiat till parts get here, then take the control arms to shop to have bushing,an ball joints pressed in....or whatever.
maybe clean em up, a little paint or what not.

will they fit? if so, should i sand an paint prior to taking parts to shop?
last,
wat should i expect to pay to have parts put into the control arms?
