Are Weld brand mags weaker?
I have heard of Weld mags being weaker than normal after market mags. Is this true? I like the look of the pro stars and was wondering if I should maybe get the same look from a different company. I don not plan on racing.

I think it may be more accurate to say that the spun aluminum, true racing type wheels, are not as strong as the heavier/stronger wheels made for road use. Wheel companies can give you the strength information on their wheels.

Some of their wheels are for "drag use only". They are great for going straight, but you might not want to take a sharp turn with them.
