Can you paint a radiator ?
I'm looking in to getting an aluminum / plastic rad, cause thats what i can afford now. I was wondering if i can paint the aluminum black ? I don't want to be able to see it through my 68's hoops ?

Re: Can you paint a radiator ?
I'm not a painter, but if you can find a paint or primer that sticks, you can paint the tanks. All of the radiator shop guys I've dealt with, said painting the tanks was OK, but don't paint the coils. Some one with more knowledge of the subject may shoot me down on this.

Re: Can you paint a radiator ?
I have done it many times. Never had an issue.
I paint all of it. All you need is a light coat.

Re: Can you paint a radiator ?
Eastwood has black radiator paint in an aerosol. Pricey, but they say it does not affect the cooling.
