1970 extra cab,is this factory?

This is listed on baltimores craigslists.Anyone know if the cab is factory or something built?

Gonna take a stab at it and say no. I've never seen one like that, and IMO it's not very attractive.

I'm thinking it a chopped down panel. Definately has the high roof crown of a panel/suburban.

kinda looks like a panel chopped down, but if that's the case, they spent some time grafting the truck doors on instead of the panel doors.
Doesn't look too good IMO.
GM never built them, and the ones that were built and sold through the dealers were not very attractive.

To my knowledge no.

This is a custom, and not to bad from the pic. But all that work to me is wasted when they slapped on the plastic 2500 emblem on the fender.

The first extended cab GM ever built was the '88. That truck looks like a modified truck cab using the beside and not a panel at all.
