Question Any wood guys with a good eye? (what color stain is this)

Anyone have a guess on what color stain was used here?

looks to be Varathane Red Mahogany with a clear coat over it
I did a Mossburg 500a 12ga and some pine trim work in that color a year or so ago,it's one of my favorite stain colors, being as it's redder than Black Cherry which has more of a purple tone and cherry is lighter

Thanks for the info, I picked up red mahogany along with a bunch of other samples. Any advice on a sealer/clear?

I'd suggest Man 'O War marine grade spar varnish. Paid $36 a quart last time I bought it but far and away the best outdoor protection I've found.

I like using clear lacquer, I figure it was good enough to be used as factory paint on cars for years it's good enough to put on wood plus I love the high gloss you can achieve with it.
