trans issue

ok well after swapping the 305 for the 400 everything was good then the other day truck attempted 300 mile journey and suffered the trans still works but is slipping i am now going to attempt to swap the 700r4 for a th400 that has been camped out on a pallet i know i need to change the converter but wat else is going to need to be swaped???

The flex plate might have a slightly different bolt pattern from the 700 to the th400. I ran in to that problem with my diesel trucks. You will need to run a switch for the kickdown on the Th-400 too.

I think old Rusty C10 has it backwards. The TH400 has no overdrive, so that won't be a problem. The only thing you'll have to add really is the electronic kickdown switch.
